Actress Mary McCormack was born Mary Catherine McCormack on February 8, 1969 in Plainfield, New Jersey, the daughter of clinical therapist Norah and car dealership and ice cream parlor owner William McCormack. She belongs to Irish descent. After completing her studies, McCormack ventured off to New York to continue her stage and musical career. While working in theaters like The Atlantic Theatre Company, Alice’s 4th Floor, and Naked Angels, she completed an acting program at the William Esper Studio. She began her acting career performing in a stage production of Gian Carlo Menotti’s Christmas opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors”. “I was twelve but looked like an eight-year-old boy” she recalls. “As luck would have it, none of the boys in town could sing, so I got the part and wore a hat”. She has been married to Michael Morris since 2003. They have three children. McCormack is with the height 5 feet 8 inches in tall. She wears a size 10 shoe and her zodiac sign is Aquarius.
